Greg is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Core Solar, LLC.  Mr. Nelson has over 20 years of professional energy project consulting and development experience.  Mr. Nelson also serves as the CEO of Energy Renewal Partners (ERP), a leading environmental consulting and engineering firm to the energy sector.

Mr. Nelson is a senior advisor to the energy sector and has held leadership roles supporting global energy development projects and transactions with Topaz Power (Riverstone Holdings), ARCADIS (UK), and Stantec.  His career has focused on delivering utility-scale energy projects to and for many of the largest and most successful energy companies in the US and abroad.  His technical background includes conducting and leading due diligence, resource assessment, regulatory strategy, siting, permitting, financing, and construction of solar, wind, biomass, and natural gas projects.  Additionally, Mr. Nelson is an expert in decommissioning and repurposing coal plants and similar industrial facilities on brownfield sites.

Mr. Nelson holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental science and economics from Middlebury College and studied business administration at the University of Nebraska.

John is the Senior Vice President of Core Solar, LLC. Mr. Lichtenberger has over 20 years of energy and utility experience in management, mergers and acquisitions, operations, strategic planning, and generation asset development.

Mr. Lichtenberger has held senior level positions with several leading global development companies and independent power producers (IPPs) including Gamesa, First Solar, International Power America, Inc. (now Engie), and SunEdison acquiring and developing utility-scale wind and solar projects. He also held senior level positions at the Lower Colorado River Authority, where he was responsible for generation resource planning, power plant operations, power purchase agreements, long-term power supply contracts, customer relationship management, and a risk management program.

Mr. Lichtenberger holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master of business administration degree, both from Texas A&M University.

Randy is the Senior Project Manager for Core Solar, LLC. Mr. Jenks has over 30 years of energy experience in project and business development, corporate management and strategic planning, engineering, project management and finance, construction, and operations and asset management.

Mr. Jenks has held senior level positions with several leading independent power producers including OCI Energy, Edison International, Mission Energy, Terra-Gen Power and Diamond Generating Corporation developing utility scale solar, wind, natural gas and biomass projects. He has also held senior level positions where he was responsible for corporate strategy, business growth, and mergers and acquisitions.

Mr. Jenks holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan and is a registered Professional Engineer (CA).

Cassandra is Chief Financial Officer of Core Solar, LLC.  Ms. Schultz has over 20 years of energy experience in accounting, finance, risk management, asset development, and mergers & acquisitions. 

Ms. Schultz has held officer positions with several leading publicly-held energy companies, and she has extensive experience in start-up of new businesses and corporate functions.  Ms. Schultz was most recently Vice President of Commercial Support at Repsol Energy North America Corporation where she established the back office, risk management, contract administration, and compliance functions for gas & power trading.  Prior to that, she was Vice President and Chief Risk Officer of multi-state energy utility, KeySpan Corporation (now National Grid). During her career, Ms. Schultz has been an audit manager at Ernst & Young, and she is a Certified Public Accountant.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Texas A&M University.

 

 

Jan is the Senior Paralegal for Core Solar, LLC. Ms. Adams has over 25 years real estate experience in commercial, title insurance, asset management, transactional matters and 12 years in Wind and Solar renewable energy.

 Ms. Adams worked at EON Climate and Renewables NA, an international wind and solar developer for In-House Counsel providing Lease Compliance Analyst, Lease/Title Administration and land management payment software ensuring the integrity of over 2,000 leases. Assisted from development to operations several wind projects producing over 1000 MW, including Radfords Run, Bruenning’s Breeze, Colbecks Corner and Grandview 1.  

 Ms. Adams has held manager positions with Florida and Texas law firms including Baker and Botts managing over 20 legal assistants and law clerks working in close liaison with senior partners developing residential communities and major shopping centers. Held paralegal position for Travelers Insurance Asset Management Division. Ms. Adams holds a bachelor’s degree from Barry University and a Paralegal Certification from Florida Atlantic University.
